Events on The Square. The Marietta Square will be the site of a couple of events this weekend. Start off with Live Well Marietta, which takes place this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This event will feature fitness activities, health and wellness screenings, cooking demonstrations, and a kid zone with free activity stations.

After getting the low-down on all things health-related, be sure to partake of the Annual Marietta StreetFest, which will feature arts and crafts, a grassroots music festival, and a cruise-in featuring classic cars and hot rods.

Stay Sharp. Join the Cobb Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, Sept. 23, as it hosts one of its regular Business Builders sessions. Business Builders is a group dedicated to enhancing and supporting the personal and professional development of people seeking to learn key business principles. The sessions provide opportunities to speak with others to exchange ideas, review best-selling business books and improve professional skills.
The session will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Chamber’s headquarters at 240 Interstate North Parkway. Executive Club and Chairman’s Club members enjoy free admission.

Mix and Mingle. Join the Cobb Young Professionals (CYP) next Wednesday, Sept. 24, for the group’s September Social at Red Hare Brewing Company. This is an opportunity to network and sample some craft beer.
Red Hare Brewing Company is located at 1998 Delk Industrial Boulevard in Marietta. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10.
