Fun at the Library. The Cobb County Public Library System has a line-up of events and festivities that are sure to keep the whole family entertained and engaged this summer. Events include movie days, story times, book discussion groups, arts and crafts events, pajama parties and much more.

A Night Under the Stars. The annual Star-Spangled Spectacular in Kennesaw takes placethis Saturday and will feature a performance by the Georgia Symphony Orchestra, followed by a fireworks show. The concert series has become a local summer tradition and has been running for seven years.
Pre-concert festivities begin at 5 p.m., and the free concert starts at 8 p.m. The event will be held at the Campus Green on Kennesaw State University, located at 1000 Chastain Road in Kennesaw.
This is the Voice! Your favorite contestants from the NBC hit series “The Voice” will perform live at the Cobb Energy Centre this Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Contestants from past seasons — including the most recent winner from season six, Josh Kaufman — will take the stage to perform songs and recreate moments from their time on the show.
Tickets, which range from $32 to $62 plus applicable fees, are available online through Ticketmaster or at the Cobb Energy Centre box office.
Making Resolutions. Join the Cobb Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, July 1, as it hosts a Business University session entitled “Conflict Resolution: Employer & Employee,” a two-hour presentation by Jeff Daxe, partner in the Litigation and Employment departments at Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele. He will discuss best practices for handling conflicts in the workplace and also how to keep them to a minimum.
The presentation will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Chamber’s headquarters at 240 Interstate North Parkway. Chamber members can register for $25 online and $30 at the door. General admission is $50.
