Red, White and Blue. Honor those who have served our nation by attending a Memorial Day ceremony on Monday.
The Marietta National Cemetery will host a ceremony beginning at 12 p.m. Those in attendance will enjoy patriotic music, a posting of the colors, a gun salute and speakers. The ceremony is organized by the National Memorial Day Association of Georgia and The Avenue of Flags. For more information, visit this website. The 20th Century Veterans Memorial will also host a ceremony in Smyrna at 9:30 a.m. The memorial is located at 2800 King Street. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at the Smyrna Community Center in downtown Smyrna. For more information, visit the city of Smyrna’s website.
Take it to the Big Top. Visit Jim R. Miller Park this weekend for the Annual Yaarab Shrine Circus and Fair. This fun-filled event will feature aerial acrobatics, motorcycle jumps, elephant acts, more than 35 rides, classic carnival food and much more.
The proceeds of the event will go to the Yaarab Shrine and Atlanta Shriners as they continue to raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Celebrate Spring. Join the Cobb Young Professionals (CYP) as they host their May Spring Fling next Thursday, May 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This is a great networking opportunity as it is the largest CYP event of the year. The event will feature food trucks, local brews and music.
The event will be held at the Galleria Gardens, located at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Chamber members can register for free online. General admission is $10. The deadline to register is May 27 at 12 p.m.
