Who Will She Choose?The Atlanta Opera’s rendition of “The Barber of Seville” ends this weekend at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The opera, which will be sung in Italian with projected English translations, is a romantic comedy that deals with two men fighting for one woman’s love.
Show times are as follows:
Friday at 8 p.m.
Sunday at 3 p.m.

Politics and Rock N’ Roll. Banks & Shane, a self-described “ high-energy, hard-kicking, blow-the-roof-off band” that has been popular in the Atlanta area for decades, will perform at The Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta this Friday night. Proceeds will benefit the Tricia Pridemore for Congress campaign.

Derby Day. Visit South City Kitchen Vinings this Saturday as it hosts a Kentucky Derby party. This event will feature exclusive access to the bar area to view the race on the big screen, Southern-style hours d’oeurves and a “Derby Day” attire contest. Your best seersucker outfits and big hats are invited.
The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The cost to attend is $25 per person. Those attending the party will receive 15 percent off their meals if they stay for dinner. Click here for more information.

Top of the Morning. Join the Cobb Chamber next Wednesday, May 7, for a Member Appreciation Breakfast. This is an opportunity to network, hear about member benefits and programs, and, of course, enjoy breakfast hosted by The Georgian Club.
