Any Way You Want It. The days of Steve Perry and Journey might be a thing of the past, but you don’t have to stop believin’! This Saturday, Departure, a Journey tribute band, will be at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta to take you back to the days of “Faithfully,” “Wheel in the Sky,” “Open Arms” and more.
The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door.

Easter Egg Hunt. Cobb County Parks and Recreation invites you and your kids to an Easter egg hunt this Saturday at Jim Miller Park. The egg hunt will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to attend. This event features hunts for different age groups, live entertainment and photos with the Easter Bunny.

It’s Raining Eggs. Do you want to take your Easter egg hunting to the next level? Then you should plan to attend the North East Cobb Community Egg Drop this Saturday. There will be egg hunts for children of all ages from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The main event, a helicopter egg drop, will take place at 1:30 p.m.

A Country Legend. Are you a young professional that loves country music and a fun networking opportunity? Then you should be at the Brickyard in Marietta from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. That’s when and where the Cobb Young Professionals – a group within the Cobb Chamber of Commerce dedicated to promoting the workplace success of workers in their 20s and 30s – is hosting its April meeting.
Nashville legend Tom Long will be there to speak about his 30-year career in the country music industry. However, he won’t be coming alone. He will bring his newest musical discovery, Kurt Thomas, who will play an acoustic set for attendees.
