Nothing gets us in the Christmas spirit more than a festive show! This year, the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre has something for everyone.
The awe-inspiring “Cirque Dreams Holidaze,” from the creators of the Broadway hit, “Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy,” runs through Dec. 5.
We want our readers to get in on the special offer we found… Tickets are usually $26-$60, but we found an online deal where you can purchase Lower Grand Tier seats for $21 (regularly $40) and Box, Mezzanine and Orchestra seating for $27.50 (regularly $53).
For more family-friendly fun, we also recommend the Holiday Ice Spectacular coming to Atlanta for the first time Dec. 16-24. The show is a combination of music, skating, dance and comedy, and tickets start at $20.
If you’re in the mood for a good laugh, there are three comedy shows in December. The quick-witted Russell Peters will perform his Green Card Tour comedy show Dec. 10, veteran stand-up comedian Louis CK will perform Dec. 11 and the five finalists from NBC’s Last Comic Standing will stop in Atlanta on their live tour Dec. 31.
If you can’t decide which show to attend, or if you’re trying to find the perfect stocking stuffer, consider purchasing a gift card to the Cobb Performing Arts Centre. Gift cards may be purchased for any amount and are redeemable for any performance and also for concessions. The cards are available at the Bank of North Georgia Box Office.
