Many of our tenants are involved in giving back to the community through various philanthropic efforts. One tenant, Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), sponsors events benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association all year long.
INPO’s Community Action Service Team is sponsoring several fundraising efforts during the coming weeks to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and its annual Memory Walk. A team of INPO co-workers who call themselves the INPO Eagles plan to walk this year and hope to raise $10,000 in honor of family members who have been affected by the disease.
Watch this video or visit the website to find out how you can make a difference in the search for a cure for Alzheimer’s.
The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $300 million for the cause. Walks are held in nearly 600 locations nationwide, and this year’s Atlanta walk will be Oct. 2 at Zoo Atlanta.
